To Market, To Market By: A Miranda

To the market to buy a fat pig-and then home again. To the market to by a red hen and then home again. The pig left the pen. To market to by a plump goose then home again and the goose is loose. To market to buy a live trout and then home again, the goose was let out. To market to buy a lamb then home again, the trout swam away. To market to buy a cow then home again and the lamb disappeared. To market to buy a duck then home again, the cow disappeared. To market to buy a goat then home again, the duck flew away. This is the last straw! The pig is in the kitchen lamb on the bed cow on the coach the duck on her head the hen in the cupboard with the goose and the goat is in the closet eating a shoe the trout in the tub and the lady is hungry. To the market to buy some potatoes, celery, beats and tomatoes, garlic and spice, cabbage, rice, onions, carrots and then home again because she made soup for lunch. For everyone.
