C – cut to ribbons

D – nearly drowned

E – slowly evaporating

F – firmly flattened

G – starting to grow

H - partly hidden

I - nicely iced

J – rather jittery

K – quietly kidnapped

L – much too large

M – beginning to melt

N – nailed and nailed again

O – rapidly overgrown

P – repeatedly pecked

Q – neatly quartered

R – rolled offstage

S – simply soaked

T – all tied up

U – abruptly uprooted

V – mysteriously vanishing

W – oddly warped

X – carefully x-rayed

Y – yanked away

Z – finally zapped
