Pooh and the Bees – Pooh loves honey and knows that
when there is buzzing honey is never too far behind. Pooh found a big tree and
heard buzzing so he decided to climb it to find honey. That didn’t work so he
got a balloon, covered himself in mud and floated like a little black rain
cloud close to the tree. The bees were suspicious and flew all around him. When
he couldn’t get any homey he asked Christopher Robin to shoot down the balloon
and he floated back to the ground.
Pooh Gets into Tight Place
– Pooh goes to visit Rabbit.
He squeezes through rabbits door hole and while visiting he eats a lot of
honey. When he goes to leave, he gets stuck half in and half out. After much
pulling and pushing they could not get him in or out, so he had to stay there
until he got thinner. Christopher Robin came to the tree and read to him every
day. Finally after a week they got him unstuck.
Pooh and Piglet Nearly
Catch a Woozle. – One
snowy day Pooh went to visit Piglet. He was walking around the tree when Piglet
came out and asked him what he was doing. Pooh said he was following tracks,
hunting Woozles. Piglet joined him but when they kept seeing more and more
tracks Piglet became scared and went home. Christopher Robin was sitting in the
tree watching. He said to Pooh “Silly Bear. You keep walking around the same
tree.” Pooh tried fit his paw into one of the tracks and realized they were his
own tracks.
Eeyore loses a Tail and
Pooh Finds One –One
day Pooh saw Eeyore and asked him where his tail was. Eeyore realized his tail was missing and they went
to look for it. Finally they found a tail when Pooh went to Owls house and saw
a tail hanging by the front door. Owl found the tail in the forest and was
using it for a bell rope. Pooh took the tail to Christopher Robin and he
attached it to Eeyor3 with a tack.
Piglet Meet a Heffelump –Pig let and Pooh decided to try to
trap a Heffelump, which is an elephant, by digging a large hole and putting a
jar of honey in the bottom as bait. That night Pooh got hungry and climbed down
into the hole and ate the honey and got the jar stuck on his head. Piglet came
by in the morning and looked in the hole and thought they caught a Heffelump.
He got Christopher Robin who came and realized it was Pooh.
Eeyore Has a Birthday and
Gets Two Presents – Eeyore
was sad because it was his birthday and no one gave him presents. Pooh and
Piglet tried to cheer him up by giving him presents. Pooh ate all the honey and
gave eyeore and empty jar and Piglet fell on the balloon and popped it before
it got to Eeyore. He still has fun putting the limp pieces of balloon in and
out of the empty jar. That made him happy.
Kanga and Baby Roo Come to
the Forest –Kanga
was new to the forest. They didn’t understand why she carried Roo in a pocket.
They wanted to find out, so they tried to trick her by swapping Piglet for Roo.
Piglet rode in Kanga’s pocket. Kanga wasn’t tricked but she played along and
gave Piglet a bath and put him to bed. Piglet didn’t like baths so he kept trying
to tell Kanga that he wasn’t Roo. Christopher Robin came along and played along
with the trick. Soon they all became friends.
Christopher Robin Leads an
Expoition to the North Pole – Christopher Robin took all the friends to find the North Pole.
They didn’t exactly know what they were looking for. Roo fell into a pool of
water and needed to be rescued. Pooh found a long branch and stretched it
across the water. Roo was able to crawl up the branch to safety. Christopher
Robin asked Pooh where found the pole. “I just found it.” answered Pooh.
Christopher Robin said it was the North Pole and the expotition was over.
Piglet is Entirely
Surrounded by Water – It
rained and rained for days and water was surrounding Piglet’s house. The water
was rising and he got scared because he didn’t know how to swim. He decided to
put a message in a bottle like they did in one of the stories Christopher Robin
read to him. He threw the bottle in the water and watched it float away. Pooh
was sitting on a branch with all his jars of honey keeping them safe. After he
ate all the honey, he saw the bottle floating by and jumped in thinking there
might be honey in it. He found the note and took it to Christopher Robin. They
ended up using Christopher Robin’s umbrella turned upside down as a boat to
rescue Piglet.
Christopher Robin Gives
Pooh a Party and We Say Goodbye – Christopher Robin threw pooh a party because he rescued Piglet
from the flood. He invited everyone and gave Pooh a present. He gave him a
pencil box with pencils. One was marked B for Bear, one was marked HB for
Helping Bear and one was marked BB for Brave Bear. He also gave him an eraser
for rubbing out mistakes.
At the end of the book Christopher Robin goes upstairs to go to
bed and drags pooh with him.
